Family & Community Engagement Coordinator (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Are you passionate about building community connections, supporting families, and driving meaningful engagement?
BGC Saskatoon is looking for a dedicated and energetic Family and Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team! In this full-time, temporary (12 months) role, you'll lead initiatives that strengthen relationships between BGC and the families we serve, coordinating community initiatives and events, volunteer opportunities, and other engagement efforts that truly make a difference.

What You'll Do:
- Engagement & Relationship Building: Develop and implement strategies to foster family engagement through events, community initiatives, and ongoing outreach.
- Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and engage volunteers, building relationships with community partners to expand our volunteer base.
- Event Management: Lead BGC fundraising and community events from concept to completion, ensuring smooth operations and maximum impact.
- Social Media Management: Manage BGC Saskatoon's social media to amplify our mission, recognize volunteers, and celebrate our achievements.
What You'll Bring:
- Education & Experience: College Diploma or University Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in Community Development, Event Management, or Volunteer Management.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a flair for media relations.
- Project & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple priorities, from events to volunteer coordination, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Tech Skills: Proficient in computer applications; experience with social media management is a plus.

Compensation
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
